What is Full Spectrum Faith ?

Full spectrum faith focuses on seven areas of spiritual development that are the lens through which we plan all our activities.

We know that engagement in these seven areas will produce disciples, Jesus followers, who will have the best opportunity to connect, grow, share and serve.

Full Spectrum Faith is built from our Mission statement which is:

a people with whom God can fellowship,
who reflect his glory
and are being transformed in his image.

Poplar Creek Church		IDENTITY Born in the Heart of Jesus. We value the declaration of faith, that we become believers by trusting in Jesus and declaring ourselves to be Christians. We identify with the local church and affiliate with the local body for purposes of shared ministry and fellowship.
Exists		STEWARDSHIP/HEARTPLACE Giving him first place in our hearts. We value the decision to live generously with a model of Christian Stewardship. Honoring that all we have is God’s we choose to share from our blessings that Christ’s message will move forward.
To Create		EVANGELISM / MISSION Sharing the Heart. We value the call to personal evangelism, that we have received a great gift and it is our joy and calling to share that gift with those who are still outside the heart of Jesus.
A People		GROUP LIFE Growing through small goups. We value the benefits and opportunities afforded in small group interaction, thatwill build relationships that function as life support to every believer, and a life line to not-yet-believers.
With Whom God Can Fellowship		WORSHIP Entering the throne room of God. We value worship as a body, collectively praising God for his work in our lives, and offering ourselves as a testimony to his grace. Worship is an opportunity to be drawn to the throne of God and find ourselves renewed, refreshed to the work we are called to accomplish.
Who Reflect His Glory		MINISTRY/GIFTS Doing the right thing the best way. We value the discovery of our spiritual giftedness and recognize the need to utilize those gifts in ministry. We reflect God’s grace when we serve.
And Are Being Transformed In His Image		SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINES Personal transformation through spiritual disciplines. We value the growth that comes through personal discipline, the benefits of prayer, Bible reading, journaling, fasting and time alone with God.
